The original template was VBA-driven and, as I’ve often seen, this causes a whole heap of problems for the end-user.

Yes, VBA does have its place, but if you can do everything in Word without using VBA, that will always be the preferred option.

One of the many beauties of using Word’s building blocks is they offer functionality that enables us to implement some great time-savers.
